My work is deeply rooted in ancient Chinese traditions, with a particular focus on two distinct yet equally significant practices: cloisonné and Feng Shui. Each of these crafts brings its own unique history, technique, and philosophy to my work, and together, they form the foundation of everything I create.

Cloisonné: A Legacy of Craftsmanship

My journey into the world of cloisonné began at an early age. Cloisonné is a centuries-old art form dating back over 600 years to the Ming dynasty. This intricate craft involves the delicate process of placing fine metal wires onto a surface to form intricate designs, which are then filled with enamel or, in my case, finely ground crystals and gemstones. I have chosen to innovate on the traditional cloisonné method by using these natural elements in place of enamel, adding a luxurious and vibrant touch that brings a modern twist to this ancient craft. Each piece is painstakingly handcrafted, often requiring several days or even weeks to complete. No two pieces are the same, and each one carries its own story, blending the beauty of nature with the precision of traditional technique.

What sets my cloisonné apart is not only the use of rare crystals and minerals but also the connection I feel to this ancient craft. Cloisonné has always been a way for artisans to tell stories and preserve history, and in my work, I strive to continue that tradition. Each piece of cloisonné I create is more than just decorative—it is a reflection of history, cultural identity, and the enduring beauty of craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Feng Shui: Harmonizing Energy Through Art

Equally central to my practice is Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese system of harmonizing the energy, or Qi, within a space.
